First Mac DIY Crimeware Kit Discovered

Danish security company CSIS has just announced the discovery of the first in-the-wild do-it-yourself crimeware kit for Mac OS X platform has just been disclosed in underground hacking forums.

The kit has been made available for sale, and can be used for web injection attacks and form grabbing, currently in Firefox, but with the expectation that Chrome and Safari will follow, and it is thought that this is the first time that such an advanced kit has been made available on the Mac platform.

CSIS have also suggested that dedicated iPad and Linux versions of the kit will be made available in due course.
